Born in Little Rock, Arkansas, and raised in Muskogee, Oklahoma, Pastor Jacobs grew up in church and was mentored by his maternal and paternal grandparents — both preachers. As a young boy, he sang in the church choir under the direction of his mother, who served as Choir Director. In addition to ministry, Pastor Jacobs also worked in corporate and non-profit sectors as a business leader in technology, medical supplies, banking/finances, and the services industries. He is also the founder and CEO of 5 For Freedom, a non-profit corporation that built a memorial to recognize and honor Veterans that served during the Middle East wars. Pastor Jacobs is a widower and father of three children, nine grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. His favorite food is soul food, as long as it includes rice or beans.
